The UAV which is based on the Elbit systems Military UAV Hermes 900 was awarded TC late last week.
According to the Hebrew publication by the DOT the UAV carries TCAS and EGPWS, has Autoland capability and multiple redundant systems.
The TC means that the Starliner a 17m wide wingspan UAV is allowed to operate in civilian airspace
The UAV has a max takeoff weight of 1600kg and an operational ceiling of 25000 feet.
The Starliner can carry various sensors including cameras and RADAR. up to a 450kg payload.
