The Government on Dubai has announced that the northern runway of its airport “Dubai International” DXB OMDB, will be closed for refurbishment from May 9th until June 22nd.
During the closure period some airlines operations will be relocated to Dubai’s other airport Al Maktoum International OMDW DWC which is located some 40 kilometers south of Dubai International. right on the other side of town b the southern “palm tree” island.
Passengers are advised to check with their airlines the planned airport of landing during that period.
